Tactical Social Battery Reload

During the road trip, I realised that this summer had been rather draining on my physical and my mental health. The most noticeable effects were on my social battery, which reached negative states during the past week. I simply had spent about a month in a row with different friend groups and barely had any breathers.

After my road trip, I had a day off when I returned to Estonia. I took the most of it. I watched a movie, cooked alone and before going to sleep read a book. It was great. Me, myself and my thoughts. Then I proceeded to have a lovely sleep. The next day I woke up and went for a run straight away. I simply felt energised and full of power. It felt great.

Funnily enough at the time of writing this, I have zero hours of sleep and it is Monday at 09:12 o'clock. That being said, I will try to get a little nap in and become an adequate human being again soon.

To my point now – summer is messy. One must not let the chaos drain oneself of all energy simply to meet norms set by others. Cancel that meeting, and reschedule that event. Have a breather.

This Week's Suggestions:

🎶 "Les Champs-Elysées" by Joe Dassin:

Was listening to this song whilst enjoying the sunrise today. Joe Dassin has some tunes, this one is a classic. Check it out!

Cheers!
