I established some rules for my week of holidays. I have exams coming up in a week, and simultaneously, I have a big project presentation this Friday. So I had to get some work in during the holidays, which can be very erratic. I set three tasks per day to complete :
- 1h30 of schoolwork
- 1 traffic laws quiz
- 50 push-ups
Let's be honest – it is not a lot that I was asking of myself. Yet that was the whole point. Making it achievable. Seems rather weak to NOT do the work since I ask so little of myself. That being said, over the week, these 3 rules stack up to 10h30 of work put in, 7 traffic quizzes and 350 pushups.
Right now, I am at the Tallinn airport, travelling back to Lille. I am up to 7h30 of work, 6 and a half quizzes and 325 pushups. Not too shabby. It is funny how well this sort of biohacking works on me. I feel way more productive, even though the amount of effort put in was not extravagant.
I am happy I found these tips again. Also, something I highly recommend if you want some similar concepts and ideas during your week is the newsletter of James Clear. It's very much straight to the point – every Thursday you receive "3 short ideas from me, 2 quotes from others, and 1 question for you to ponder."
Okay, but now I will try to continue on my self-improvement again. I was quite good at all of that stuff during my first and second year of higher studies, but this year it has somewhat fallen apart. I was just doing stuff constantly, but was not trying to make it as efficient as possible. Let's fix that.

This song is nostalgic for me – it was on repeat in grades 10 to 12. Still appreciate the song so here it is!
Have a lovely Monday!
