I Land Sound

This week I experienced I Land Sound festival on the half-island of Illiku in Saaremaa, Estonia—probably one of my greatest festival experiences so far. The location itself is refreshingly remote, yet everything you need remains accessible.
The logistics were well thought out. The camping area sat on the mainland, while the festival grounds were only accessible via the connection to Illiku. Orissaare's grocery store is just 300 meters from the main entrance, making supply runs effortless.
With 8 stages and more than 50 different activities, there was never a dull moment. During daylight hours, these stages transformed into spaces for meditation, yoga, and even knot tying workshops. Two saunas, one hot tub, and multiple sea access points meant you could always find your perfect way to unwind.
From 6 PM, the stages began their musical journey, continuing until 6 AM—the perfect rhythm for festival life. Talking about rhythm, the sound system was lovely. On all stages, the quality was impressive.
We were blessed with ideal weather all weekend. Daytime temperatures reached up to 30°C, while nights stayed comfortable around 20°C. You couldn't ask for better festival conditions.
Communication was spot-on throughout. Clear signage guided you wherever you needed to go, and the staff were genuinely helpful at every turn.
This long weekend left me feeling deeply inspired. I will be going back to this festival. The quality and the attention to detail were truly impressive. With my friend-group we could not come up with a single flaw for the weekend and that says enough.
This Week's Suggestions:
🎶 "Low Rider" by Hatori Hanso:
This track hit around 5 AM with the sunrise—pure magic. It samples WAR's classic "Low Rider" and elevates it with crisp breakbeats. For that sunrise moment, it was an absolutely immaculate song choice.
Hope you had as fun of a week!
