A week and a Half

I admit that I might be slightly late this week. For the past year I have been preparing for this very week to go as smoothly as possible – this week was the election for the student council. It is a week during which two teams of 40 people go head to head and try to prove to the 1,000 students why they are the most capable council for next year.
It is a lot of work and probably the most difficult part is that all that is behind the scenes. It is supposed to be secret until the moment of revelations which took place last Friday. In this council I am the treasurer – I was the one to follow and direct all the cashflow.
It is a very rewarding (pun intended) role. This year we also had some classes which helped me get to a considerable level with Excel and I went deep into it. I am very proud of what I have achieved during this year.
The theme our team of this year was investigator and our animal was the fox. To get a grasp of what happened you can go check out the Instagram page. We had 4 main events spread out over five days.
The amount of sleep I got was comparable to the army but it was a completely different setting. Arguably even more difficult at times, because the norms of the civil world and the military world differ quite a bit.
This Week's Suggestion:
This is the song that I have been singing (in secret) for the past few months. During this week it has been on repeat and the lyrics have been engrained into my brain. It is a fun song that represents our work – it was fully produced by one of our members from scratch.
Sorry for the tardiness, Till next week!
